Regional Earthquake Drill October 21, 09

PCART will be an active participant in the Regional Earthquake Drill in October. In testing the communications issues, please be ready to answer your phones. If you have alternative communications means please share with us.

    In meeting with the different agencies, PCART isplanning to join the activities for Regional Earthquake Drill Oct 21, 2009 as a tabletop exercise. PCART will be on a team of resonders under the umbrella of Emergency Support Function #6. This functions is defined as Mass Care and Sheltering. Please contact Daucie Willson at 798-2751 if you want to participate as volunteer assigned to PCART.

PCART is moving forward

As all of you know we are in a transitional period in our economy and as the challenges are out there we will develop creativity in finding solutions. We want to thank Salvation Army, St Vincent DePaul and other organizations that are beginning to collect dog crates, leashes, and bowls for feeding. These items will be collected and added to a kit for each pet friendly shelter in Pierce County. We want to publically thank all of you who are working to gather these items. We have the best volunteers.
